APLICATION
An elastic, crack-resistant plaster mix based on gypsum, white in color. Designed for high-quality leveling of brick, concrete, and gypsum walls and ceilings in dry interior spaces. Covers major substrate defects. Provides a perfectly white, smooth, and even surface without additional putty. For manual application.
Eco-friendly, does not contain dangerous or harmful substances.
BASE PREPARATION
The temperature of the substrate and ambient environment must be in the range of +5°C to +30°C. The substrate must be dry, solid, and thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt, oil stains, bitumen, residues of organic and mineral adhesives, paints, and other substances that may impair the adhesion of the plaster layer. Highly absorbent substrates should be treated with “Grunt Acrylic Formula” primer. Concrete, reinforced concrete, and other low-absorbent substrates are recommended to be treated with “Grunt Formula BETONKONTAKT” primer. The primer must dry completely. Do not allow the surface to become dusty.
MIX PREPARATION
— Pour the precisely measured amount of not boiled water into a mixing container at a ratio of 0.35–0.45 L per 1 kg of mixture (10.5–13.5 L for a 30 kg bag).
— Add the mixture to the water.
— Mix manually or with an electric drill fitted with a mixer attachment at low speed for 3–4 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
— Allow a technological pause of 2 minutes for the mixture to mature.
— Mix again. After this, the plaster is ready for use for up to 1 hour with occasional stirring.
EXECUTION OF WORK
The plaster is applied to the substrate in layers from 5 to 30 mm using special tools (trowel, finishing spatula, or plastering knife). The mixture is thrown or spread, leveling “bottom-up,” starting from the bottom of the wall. The applied material is leveled with a straightedge. After initial setting, the surface is smoothed with a trowel. If multiple layers are required (leveling thickness over 25 mm), the first applied layer should be lightly scored to prevent delamination. The drying time of the plaster is 24–48 hours, depending on the layer thickness, temperature, and ambient humidity. f multiple layers are needed, the first, still soft layer should be scored (or combed) to improve adhesion between layers; the second layer should be applied after 3–5 days. The second finishing layer of plaster is applied, carefully leveled, and then smoothed.
SAFETY MEASURES AND STORAGE
Store bags of dry mixture covered in dry, well-ventilated,rooms, ensuring the integrity of the packaging and protection against moisture. Shelf life in original packaging – 12 months from the manufacturing date, at temperatures between -30°C - +40°C and relative humidity up to 75% under proper storage and transportation conditions.
During work, protective gloves, goggles, and respiratory protective equipment must be used. Avoid contact of the mixture with skin and eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Keep out of reach of children!
