The Distar DDS-W Concrete diamond crown is designed for drilling blind holes for further installation of sockets. It is suitable for working with surfaces made of unreinforced and weakly reinforced concrete, as well as brick.

The Distar DDS-W Concrete have an internal threaded seat M16 and are equipped with a centering carbide drill with an adapter M16/SDS Plus (for installing the drill in a hammer drill chuck) or M16/S10 (for installing the drill in a three-jaw drill chuck).

Diamond drills, unlike crowns with carbide cutting elements, are strictly prohibited from being used in impact mode.

Crowns are used in combination with any types of manual speed-controlled electric drills and punchers. The work shows a fairly large resource, which, when drilling bricks, reaches 150 holes, at a speed of 4 minutes a hole. For reinforced concrete, the resource is slightly less, and reaches 40, when drilling for up to 20 minutes per 1 hole at a depth of 65 mm.

It is available in 3 diameters – 68.72 and 82 millimeters. It is recommended to have a Magnet adapter adapter for very fast removal of the centering drill. It is recommended to use such crowns on a hand tool with a power of at least 650 watts.
